In a proud statement issued from their company headquarters, Matamoros Meat Markets, Inc. announced that 2011 is the 36th Anniversary of the founding of their business. The company was started back in 1975, the same year that the first personal computers became available to the public.
What else happened in 1975?
Pet Rocks were the latest craze, and everyone had one. They came with their own special house and each pet was different.
Deaths included: actress Susan Hayward, millionaire Aristotle Onasis, second husband of Jacqeline Bouvier Kennedy and “The old professor of Baseball” Casey Stengel.
